The Italian Festival Scholarship is a one-semester scholarship
specifically designed t o recognize students who are academically well rounded
and have
shown volunteer work in their community. The application period for the
2006-2007 academic years must be postmarked by May 4th
Eligibility:

Candidates must be a high school senior t o 22 years of age.

Only students working toward an undergraduate degree or
completion of a regular course of study at an academically accredited
institution will be considered,

Candidates must be active in volunteering in their community.
Terms and Conditions

The recipients will be chosen on the basis of the extent and
quality of their volunteer community involvement and academics.

Applicants must submit the following data for consideration:

Completed and signed application

Official high school or college transcripts

One-page resume typed, including academic involvement,
volunteer work, work experience, and extracurricular activities

Scholarship will be $500 per one academic semester.

Payment of the scholarship will be made by check, given
directly t o the selected school. The school will be instructed t o apply the
funds toward tuition and fees for the recipient. Should any positive balance
remain after the charges are settled, the school is to refund such unused
balance directly to the recipient.

Applications and resumes must be postmarked by May 1st No
applications or resumes will be considered after this date. No other items
will be considered other than the application and resume.
